Our Story

The Dearborn Federation of Neighborhood Associations is dedicated to improving the community and the lives of all Dearborn area citizens by creating and nurturing strong neighborhood associations.

Our Focus

COMMON CONCERNS

Meetings held every 2nd Wednesday of the month give voice to the common concerns of the individual neighborhoods. Knowing other residents may have the same issues drives the DFNA to petition the city for change and improvement.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

By gathering together we are exposed to Dearborn residents that we may not meet otherwise. . This makes Dearborn a community of neighbors, not just individuals. If a  neighborhood presently has no existing association we can offer assistance in forming one.

ACTIVE & ENCOURAGING

We encourage participation in the DFNA from any neighborhood in Dearborn. In1984, the city designated distinct neighborhoods within its borders. Associations representing the residents of those neighborhoods were highly encouraged to form associations.
